Passenger app and authorised Driver app accounts
DEVZ Solutions operates DEVZ Chauffeurs and DEVZ Driver. This page provides a way to request account deletion without reinstalling or opening either mobile app. Passenger users can also start deletion directly from the Account screen in the DEVZ Chauffeurs app.
Request deletion outside the app
Email info@devzchauffeurs.com.au from the email address associated with your DEVZ account and use the subject DEVZ account deletion request. State whether the request relates to the Passenger app or Driver app.
Do not send passwords, authentication tokens, full payment-card details or other unnecessary sensitive information. DEVZ may ask you to complete a reasonable identity-verification step before deleting an account.
What deletion covers
After a verified request, DEVZ Solutions will delete the app login/account record and personal data associated with that account that is not required to be retained for a legitimate legal, financial, safety, fraud-prevention or operational purpose. Temporary deactivation alone is not treated as account deletion.
Records that may be retained
Some booking, payment, tax, safety, dispute, fraud-prevention or operational records may need to be retained after account deletion. Where this applies, retained information is limited to what is reasonably required for that purpose and is not kept merely to preserve the deleted app account.
Passenger app
Signed-in passengers can also open Account in the DEVZ Chauffeurs app and choose Delete account. The app asks for confirmation before the request is completed.
Driver app
DEVZ Driver accounts are intended for authorised chauffeurs and are provisioned for operational access rather than public self-registration. Drivers can use the external request method above for account and personal-data requests, subject to records DEVZ Solutions must legitimately retain.
