Specify the day of the Test
The published 2026 schedule covers 26–30 December, but your ticket and travel plan relate to a particular day. State the calendar date rather than only “Boxing Day cricket”. If you are attending more than once, confirm each journey independently. Match duration and later-day play depend on cricket conditions; a scheduled five-day match is not a guarantee of five full days of play.
Prepare for a longer stadium visit
Tell DEVZ whether the party is travelling from home, accommodation or the airport. Include bags and any family equipment when choosing a category, then separately check the MCG’s conditions of entry for what you can take inside. For visitors flying in, a hotel stop may make more sense than arriving at the ground with suitcases. That stop needs to be in the itinerary.
Use your preferred finish, not an assumed end of play
You may want to leave after a session or stay until the day’s play finishes. Explain the intention before confirming the return. Weather, play and your group’s needs can change the day, but the car’s availability does not automatically change with them. Discuss any adjustment with DEVZ and obtain confirmation of the revised collection arrangement.
