There is no single price that accurately describes every Melbourne chauffeur booking. A direct transfer to a CBD hotel, several hours of business appointments and a regional return journey have different requirements. The useful comparison is a quote for the same route, vehicle category and itinerary.

Distance-based chauffeur travel

Start with a distance booking when you have a defined collection point and destination. Use the full addresses, including the correct hotel or terminal, rather than broad locations such as “Melbourne” or “the airport”. Accurate addresses help produce a relevant route and estimate.

A point-to-point transfer suits a planned journey between homes, hotels, offices or venues. A return leg, extra stop or waiting period needs to be included in the booking details; do not assume these are part of a one-way transfer.

Hourly chauffeur hire

Consider hourly hire when you need a chauffeur reserved around several appointments or a changing schedule. Share the collection point, required duration, proposed stops and final destination. A sequence of meetings may be better discussed as a corporate roadshow.

Ask what is covered by the quoted time and how itinerary changes or extra time would be handled before confirming. The initial estimate should not be treated as permission to extend the journey without agreement.

For a Melbourne airport chauffeur pick-up, include the flight number, terminal, passenger contact details and luggage. Melbourne Airport and Avalon Airport are different collection locations; use the airport on your actual itinerary.
