A festival name is not a single destination
The Melbourne International Comedy Festival uses a range of venues. Read each ticket carefully and supply the theatre, room or other performance address rather than asking for a transfer simply to “the festival”. If you have more than one show booked, note that their venues may be different. The advertised festival dates do not tell you the timing of an individual performance.
Leave enough time between shows
A double bill can require getting out of one room, reaching another venue and passing entry checks again. Compare the actual running times before arranging transport. Short city distances can be better handled on foot for some guests, while others need vehicle assistance. Tell DEVZ what you need and have the whole itinerary assessed rather than assuming a car eliminates every gap between performances.
Separate late shows from the trip home
Check whether the final show crosses into a later collection time than the rest of the group expects. Provide the correct date if your return falls after midnight. If you are staying for a meal or drinks, include that next destination. A chauffeur estimate for the first venue is not a quote for an unspecified sequence of late-night stops.
