A screening title needs a cinema address
MIFF publishes a venue directory because screenings and associated events use different locations. Use the venue on your ticket, not a cinema where you attended the festival previously. Include the room or screen where relevant and the session start. A film can have more than one screening, so check that everyone in the travelling party has the same booking.
Leave time between films and introductions
A screening may include an introduction, discussion or other programme element in addition to the film. Check the session information before planning another appointment immediately afterwards. If moving between cinemas, provide both addresses and realistic timings. Vehicle access and entry checks still take time, even when the venues are close on a city map.
Plan the return around your final commitment
If you are attending a premiere function or meeting friends after a screening, nominate that location as the next stop. Guests carrying luggage from an airport or hotel checkout should include it in the vehicle brief and confirm storage elsewhere if needed. A cinema visit does not automatically provide a place to leave travel bags while the chauffeur completes other work.
