Melbourne Showgrounds is a large event site. The organiser’s instructions should identify the entrance or pavilion relevant to your visit. Supply those details with the event name and date so the transport plan can use the correct arrival area. Instructions from another show at the same precinct may not apply to your booking.
Explain whether you are attending or exhibiting
A visitor arriving with a handbag has different requirements from an exhibitor carrying equipment. Tell DEVZ what is travelling with the passengers before choosing a category. Passenger transport does not automatically include loading access, freight handling or the ability to carry display structures. Exhibition deliveries and setup access should be arranged with the organiser.
Agree the collection for a spread-out venue
Allow time to move from your pavilion or activity to the confirmed meeting point. If the party separates during the visit, nominate one place to regroup before calling the chauffeur. Include any purchases in the return space requirements. For a dinner or hotel stop afterwards, give the full next address so the return fare reflects the actual journey.
